In this workshop, entitled, "Keeping the Concepts of White Privilege, Intersections of Privilege, Equity, Access, and Social Justice on the Radar," Dr. Jane Fernandes will share her perspectives on how to better guide faculty, staff, students, and community leaders to become consistent and active participants in the involvement and engagement of social justice and equity on campus. She will share practical educational and training strategies to utilize within the four walls of classrooms, as well as external resources to include that will benefit the college learning experience of students. Lastly, she will provide insight into different ways to institutionalize accountability for faculty, staff, students, and community leaders to implement and improve mechanisms for building more inclusive environments.  This free event is open to everyone.
